COLDHAM HALL SAILING CLUB
WELCOME TO THE CONSTRUCTION SITE
THE BUILDING OF A NEW CLUBHOUSE AT COLDHAM HALL SAILING CLUB
After much deliberation and discussion it was agreed at the A.G.M. of 2001 to cease using the clubhouse due to its bad state of repair and the problems caused by ever increasing tide levels. It was agreed that a new clubhouse should be built on a site in the dinghy park. The new clubhouse will be built by the members of the club with a key team leading the overall planning and management of construction.
Planning permission was received for the new clubhouse in May 2002.
Work starts in June 2002 with the arrival of 40 tons of crushed concrete which forms the foundations. Next a concrete slab is laid to create a base on which the new clubhouse will be erected
